The council of Religious is composed of sisters serving in the diocese
who commit themselves for a term of two years to work with and for the sisters
in the diocese in such areas as:
Input to the Diocesan Planning Report and other matters requested by the
Bishop or the Chancellor.
Represent the needs of the sisters to the appropriate diocesan
personnel.
Provide communication with and between the sisters serving in the
Diocese.
Provide for an Annual Jubilee celebration and Celebration
of Consecrated Life.
Promote vocations to Women's Congregations.
And, whatever else concerns the ministry and welfare of the sisters.
